Details

  • When: January 1 - March 31, 2021 (submit your certification score by May 31)
  • Where: Where you are. This is a remote study group.
  • Cost: $0 as in free. You (still) do need to pay for the Magento certification.
  • For: developers, content managers, project managers, sales people, etc.—really, anyone who wants to become Magento certified.
  • Once you are certified by the deadline (May 30, 2021) two of you will be randomly selected to win an Apple Watch ($399 value). The top two scoring participants will get a free t-shirt. Everyone else can purchase a t-shirt for $25USD, shipped for free anywhere in the world.

COUNT ME IN! 

I am hosting a unique challenge: let's become certified together. While getting certified in and of itself is helpful, my belief is that the preparation period before the test is 10x as valuable. During this time, you kick your curiosity into high gear and learn, study and practice. After that, you take the test. When your study is done right, you become more and more valuable to your team and the merchants that you support.

Why am I doing this? I did this last year and it was a smashing success. Hundreds of people joined and tons became certified. It made my year to see people invest in their career and become certified.

What is involved?

Your participation. Yes, this is a free opportunity (you need to pay for the certification) to join a support group. But, I hope that only serious people will join.

  • Bi-weekly Saturday groups at 9:00am Central Time (UTC -0600).
  • Ability to set aside serious study time (ideally 3-4 hours a week, hopefully more).
  • Access to ask study-related questions in an exclusive Slack group.
  • A random two of you who join and get certified will get an Apple Watch ($399 value).
  • Top two scoring participants for each certification will get an awesome, free t-shirt—no matter where you live in the world.
