Rhonda Dawes

I've spent my career managing eCommerce projects, and I came to SwiftOtter with 13 years in the Army Reserve behind me. That combination has made me pretty hard to rattle. I care about understanding what a client actually needs to accomplish before anything else, building in real time to explore what's possible, and staying ahead of the small problems before they become everyone's problem. If you've worked with me, you know I lead with warmth and try to make even the most complicated projects feel manageable.

Location and Scenery
I live in Worland, Wyoming, where the pace is slow and the views are endless. There's a train track running along our property line, and every now and then the conductor will stop by just to shoot the breeze.

Special Skills
I approach every project by locking in the business objectives, timelines, and budget up front, then building in room for the unexpected. Lately I've been especially focused on delivering detailed, animated user experiences and exploring what headless and SaaS platforms can really do.

Fun Fact
My husband and I are in the middle of remodeling our 100-year-old house. It adds, as I like to say, a wonderful layer of interest and excitement... and work to our daily lives.

What do you like to do to unwind outside of work?
I take every opportunity to enjoy the Wyoming views, whether that's spending time with my chickens or hanging out with my bulldog Festus. There's a lot of peace out here, and I don't take it for granted.

Favorite part of being an Otter?
Getting to deliver something genuinely great alongside a team this talented. From leadership to developers to QA, everyone brings something real to the table and that shows up in the work.
